Chessington World of Adventures

This month we visited Chessington World Of Adventures to find out whether this family attraction would live up to expectations.

With a new land called Wild Asia introduced this year Chessington has certainly created the ultimate adventure for families. In the mythical land older families can ride on the thrilling Kobra ride which spins like a disc through the air. Matthew sat beside me and laughed through out. I couldn’t decide whether he was amused or scared.

We spent most of the day running around from ride to ride and we were fortunate enough not to have to queue for very long for any of the rides. With the park having so many different lands there is always something to do. One of the great things is you have the opportunity to queue and ride as many times as you like. Which in turn is great value for money.

With Sienna only being 3 years old I was curious to see what Chessington had to offer her age group. She was so happy as she played on The Berry bouncers- a simple ride that bounces up and down. There are flying elephants which you can accompany your toddler on and trucks that move very slowly round a circuit.

Many families brought picnics but there is no shortage of food places to stop and buy food. With open picnic areas you can sit in wide open spaces and eat lunch as a family.

After lunch we visited The Sea life centre which was an instant hit with all of the children and a perfect place to walk around whilst we digested our lunch. There were was so much to see and we felt it was a real bonus that the cost was included in our original ticket.

Overall we felt that Chessington was a great place for a family day out. There was no shortage of laughter through out the whole day and it truly had something to offer each family member.
